| It’s been suggested that cyclists turning right onto Fisher's Lane still need the services of the faded mini-roundabout on South Parade, but as the new road markings suggest, they’re on cycle route C49, which officially cuts across Acton Green Common to and from its special crossing of South Parade at the end of Rustall Avenue, missing out the ‘dangerous’ roundabout. Many might say this C49 so-called cycle route is an unnecessarily convoluted and artificial fabrication, but there it is, and there’s white paint on the road to prove it! |
