| That’s interesting Julian, thanks. I did Google this before mentioning the ULEZ as I wanted to check myself. And In the May 20 letter , which you put a link to, it says in para 12h, that TfL agrees to h. The immediate reintroduction of the London Congestion Charge, LEZ and ULEZ and urgently bring forward proposals to widen the scope and levels of these charges, in accordance with the relevant legal powers and decision-making processes In a further letter from October 2021 - link below- it specifically mentions extension to the north and south circulars https://content.tfl.gov.uk/transport-for-london-settlement-letter-october-2020. It may be that Khan proposed these measures himself, but they do seem to have become tied to tfl funding. |
