“ Van stops badly on a difficult junction blocking a cycle lane, delivery person hurls insults whilst on duty for no reason ” Vans NEED to stop on cycle lanes to go about their business. Where else are they supposed to stop?  It’s not as though the cycle lanes are used by many so if the odd cyclist is inconvenienced for a few seconds, so what. There was no reason to have the van driver suspended. Van and lorry drivers do very stressful jobs I would imagine. They are under a lot of pressure so it doesn’t help when cyclists get abusive.
