| I think JV creates his own problems to be honest. The van was blocking his passage so he had to go around it because it's very difficult to stop when you are riding a penny farthing. Avoiding the delivery man is no big deal and is done with some finesse but instantly the delivery man clocks who the rider is because a) the rider has chosen to ride a penny farthing and is therefore about 9 feet tall and b) the rider has consulted his tailor and elected to wear a deerstalker hat. Either one of these sartorial delights is likely to elicit a comment or two but in JV's case he is also a recogniseable TV personality which of course enabled the delivery man to be more specific with his insults. I am of course basing my Penny Farthing assumptions on the height that the film seems to have been shot at. |
