Wasn't it that Elizabeth has spent a lot of time participating in the neighbourhood and feels that it is no longer the same with people more concerned about their own lives than anyone elses?  Unfortunately it has become a lot harder as the emphasis has changed.  When I left school it seemed that there was no problem getting a job but it has changed and the youngsters starting out seem to be working a lot harder than us - and don't have the security in their jobs that we did.  With both parents now working flat out the emphasis seems to have turned to actually seeing each other all at the same time.  Well that's what it looks like with my family! Hopefully with less of the travelling for work and more time split between home and office and the use of technology to facetime and zoom it will become less stressed and folk will spend more time involved in their locality.  Otherwise why bother to be here!
