Hi Jim. Sorry to disappoint you but my visit is not to do with playing cricket or coaching. I believe Richmond 5s and Chiswick 3s and/or 4s used it on Saturdays this season. Most clubs can't afford the £250 + VAT per game. Our Old Meadonians CC, now called Hounslow & Whitton, hasn't played there as a Home ground for 3 years or so. We did play there early in the season as Chiswick didn't have enough for a team but were able to raise enough to play us as the Away side !!
Between their charges and the old Civil Service ground, now Kings School, charging £200 + VAT, there is going to be a lot less cricket to watch in the Borough next year I'm afraid.
