| The gasworks seems to be a huge project and is scheduled to go on until September which calls into question the wisdom of trial closures in the area. It seems likely that such a big project got the go ahead because it was originally expected the CS9 building works would have been taking place at the same time. I think it is unlikely they are waiting for the go ahead to close Fishers Lane before proceeding with TGT. The sensible thing from the council's perspective would be to close TGT first and then, when problems develop on Fishers Lane, present closure there as a necessity. |
