| Just a fairly cursory look locally will reveal a fair few abandoned houses, I do wish someone could explain why this is allowed when we have a housing crisis. Does anyone at Hounslow investigate the circumstances of why these properties are left year on year and deteriorating all the while? I thought local authorities had the powers to take over such properties, and I'd suggest that's exactly what they should be doing. There's one such that is a stone's throw from the new council offices, must have stood boarded up for at least 10 years, it is not on in this day and age. How about some action from Hounslow? |
