| This is a very bad idea as it will only encourage cyclists to weave in and out of slow moving traffic without any due care and attention to motorists. I nearly had an accident today on my scooter with a cyclist with headphones on trying to look at his phone in one hand,completely oblivious,to swerve into me while he tried to swerve a pot hole, madness. Surely they should be heavily penalised for using a mobile phone on the road just like any other road user, infact I would encourage for an immediate year ban as I don't think it has registered with people how dangerous it is. |
