| They have done the same in my road - it is the default council position, it seems - have you followed the horrendous saga of what is being done in Sheffield? Even in our local park they have felled magnficent trees, and a freedom of information request produced no good reason. In our road perfectly healthy majestic trees have been chopped and silly little flowering trees, some that drop horrible little crab apples that roll and scrunch underfoot and are quite dangerous. All part of the toy-town control mentality of local councils and contempt for beauty. |
