Shouldn't one be a bit careful in making an implied comparison of one form of abuse with another?
A child which is fed one religion belief system from the earliest years, and this is further enforced through a specific education structure - that child could be said to have been deprived of an opportunity to understand the world in way different from that belief system. One might even say that it is an abuse of the word 'education' to make the upbringing so very one-sided (even if it was done with the very best intentions).
However it is substantively different from the commonly held understanding of the term child abuse. That term implies physical and often sexual abuse. That is an adult knowingly forcing themselves on a child - who is unable to defend themself.
To imply the two are on the same level is surely stretching the definition of abuse somewhat.
If nothing else, the child in adulthood can re-examine their education and the own belief system. They can, potentially, determine their own views. That is, they can do this if the abuse they received was about a belief system - but clearly not if it was physical. That must be difference enough to discourage this poor comparison.
