I've just been to the consultation at Chiswick Town Hall. I spoke to the Architects, a person from One Support (they are part of One Housing Group who own the site) and the Head of Mental Health from One Support. They are proposing 15 single person units. The units will all have their own living room and kitchen and bathroom facilities. The units will house people with mental health needs. The aim is that the residents will be able to move into shared accommodation after a couple of years. There are 2 parking spaces for staff and one disabled parking space. Visitors are allowed to stay with a resident for a maximum of 3 nights. I don't think the proposed fits in with the surrounding buildings and it is a shame to knock down the existing house. |
