Old thread bumped in connection with the new one about cycling around the Hogarth roundabout. As CCF says, it is a TfL responsibility. They, as London Streets, wrote in mid May : "Hogarth Roundabout, Chiswick Last year we improved the off carriageway cycling facilities along the A4 between the Hammersmith Flyover and Chiswick Roundabout. Unfortunately at the time we were unable to complete the cycle track under the Hogarth Flyover as we could not agree a way for cyclists to cross Dorchester Grove with the council.  Although several options were put to the Council they insisted that a full signalised facility was needed which has resulted in the need to undertake full traffic modelling of this complex junction.  We are currently working to identify and design a suitable facility for cyclists across the junction and will implement this in due course.   In the mean time cyclists need to travel down Dorchester Grove to continue their journey." Well done to Hounslow for insisting on a proper solution rather than an unworkable TfL botch-up.
