It was absolutely beautiful, only enjoyed by me and 'im indoors, couldn't kid my two sons to eat offal at all! I adore all offal apart from tripe - yuk!, I prefer pig's liver because it is strong and has a nice texture, tend not to eat lamb's liver as it has no taste. Have a lovely recipe for chicken liver pate picked up in Australia from a friend, now they do fight over that! I am going to do kidneys in sherry next week - yum, yum. According to some of the papers offal was making a comeback due to the financial situation - can't see it myself as people just don't but it much nowadays.
