The Bollo Lane plan was for a switch of the sorting office which is part of the Royal Mail not the Post Office. It has been ditched and the Royal Mail will continue to operate from Heathfield Terrace after the post office there closes. The management currently running Heathfield Terrace is different to the last time you were there and people seem to believe service levels are good. Although Mailboxes is excellent a Post Office branch can offer a wider range of services some at a lower cost. Not caring that a post office closes because you don't use it is akin to not caring that your local hospital is shut because you are not sick. |
