Interesting no denial from Simon Hayes.  Or should that be "Simon Hates" given his track record as a hater.. He shouldn't worry, there was plenty of evidence of excessive traffic along residential streets, both complaints from residents and any number of traffic surveys using roadside tubes and cameras. I don't understand why he isn't campaigning to remove all the road closures that have been in place in Chiswick.  If he thinks people should be able to cut through from Chiswick High Rd to South Parade, then surely they also should be able to cut through from Chiswick High Rd to Acton Lane, Chiswick High Rd to Chiswick Lane, Stamford Brook Rd to Goldhawk Rd and any number of other rat-runs that have been closed off in Chiswick over the years. Surely Francis Rowe should also be campaigning for these ratruns to be opened up given his justification that they mean less traffic along nice streets and instead, the traffic uses main roads like Chiswick High Rd and Goldhawk Rd.
