| Jeremy, I have no desire to wade through the huge set of documentation for the Bollo Lane development but a cursory search revealed reference to: "As a primarily residential car-free (other than Blue Badge) development, cycle and vehicle parking and servicing is to satisfactory standards in this location. The applicant proposes a s106 contribution towards the construction of new pedestrian crossings linking both sides of Bollo Lane." Together with "A pedestrian led design which promotes public transport and active travel" and "extend and update the pavements on Bollo Lane and improve the pedestrian experience" I know you will find it difficult to comprehend that the developers are not prioritising convenience of driving above everything else, but it appears to be the case and the development plans are assuming that Bollo Lane will be closed to motor traffic. |
