| Anthony, The independent article you refer to (which may even have been the same one I read before posting) includes the following: Out of the 4 million cases dealt with by the CPS when Keir Starmer was in charge of the DPP/CPS, a total of Three cases resulted in convictions passed on evidence from the horizon system. Aside from these three cases where convictions happened after prosecutions were undertaken by the CPS, ALL the other convictions were as the result of PRIVATE PROSECUTIONS. The previous government were far more to blame about the scandal than the CPS, and the previous government could have done something about it - and they didn't. |
