| 'Shame he didn't spot the menace of Jimmy Saville-' Er - remind us which P.M. was it who presided over Savile being given a knighthood? (06/07/24 14:59:00 Vanessa Smith) Margaret Thatcher, in a resigned did confer a knighthood on "jimmy saville",despite having doubts. Even she, as Prime Minister could not withstand the "establishment steamroller" of "Shitehall/Whitehall". I do not think Starmer with the Lego hair, would have been as critical himself, than Margaret Thatcher was. After all, he his a robotic Soviet style yes man, to the nomenklatura of the Civil Service. Whatever else she, Thatcher, did have a more citical/questioning mindset than almost anyone else, irrespective of the party political setup and mindset, in relation to politics and socio/economic issue, in her time in office and beyond. |
