The WHO and Professor Chris Whitty would seem to disagree. Also, Dr Jennie Harries, one of the Deputy Chief Medical Officers, said: "After all, these disgusting , soggy masks have a nasty habit of trapping the virus, and is not a good idea, and could put the wearer at risk of contracting covid-19". Also the 'well respected' Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, another DCMO, said that healthy people wearing masks would not reduce the spread. And as I alluded to somewhere else, why are masks not compulsory in pubs? I'm just off for a swift half. |
