| I've had an argument on the phone today with a friend who's an avid believer in all the conspiracy theories that abound. She got very angry with me as I refuse to come round to her way of thinking and agree with her. She ended up slamming the phone down on me. I've listened to her ranting on for months now and she knows that I'm not interested in them and have asked her not to bring them up. But she still continued to ram them down my throat. She refuses to wear a face mask, insisting they're ridiculous and an infringement on our personal liberty. Etc, etc, etc. I could go on and on about all the rubbish (to my mind) that she spouts, but I'll leave it at that. I just wanted to get it off my chest. I'm very upset, and angry. Am I alone in this happening, or has anyone else experienced this? |
