| Richmond can be a bit of a velodrome at the weekend I agree but I cycle every day I go into the office and I get no hassle from the fast lads on road bikes. They just cycle passed me and id rather it was them than diesel trucks and taxi's. Its a question of proportion. Ideally we'd all cycle like a vicar and tip our hats at passing lady folk but its not 1950 much to the chagrin of R**s M**G. Stating the same tyred (sic) old clichés about red light jumping and lycra louts doesn't actually move the argument on at all. What we need is a move towards a solution that doesn't choke us and our kids to death, literally. Cycling more is a step in the right direction and im afraid it is going to happen, so move on or move over. |
