Vanessa, you are the perfect example of the "party diehard"who even though you have made your thoughts pretty clear on Mrs Keen as the prospective MP for the area will still cast your valued vote for her because she wears the sacred red rose. As someone who use to vote Labour many years ago and has watched as it has turned towards whatever will grab a few more votes i simply cannot understand voting for a local candidate if you do not do so with conviction for Him or Her and and not from being compelled to do so. One of your friends Mr Sheerins asked for my support recently about apposing tutition fees but rapidly backtracked when Mrs Keen announced she would follow the party line.I believe Mrs Keen has only once voted against the Government in all the time she has been MP despite what opinion she may really have had and this is a sad reflection of toeing the party line rather than representing the people who voted her in. |
