The markets are still responding better than was expected. The £/$ rate has stabilised and at last people are starting to believe that there is a life after brexit.I said that I didn't think things would be as bleak as they were being predicted to be, and at the moment that seems to be true. The first day after the referendum, those that came on this forum telling us that the economy was about to collapse have so far not been proved right. They will probably now say, Ah, but you wait until next year.We have a recession blah blah blah, If things were going to collapse it would have been directly after the vote when nobody was sure what was going to happen. Now, with a new government in place, things are beginning to look brighter.Mr Munn, Wynne and the others that spent every night on the forum telling us that we would all be so much worse off were wrong. If and when it does go wrong, please feel free to gloat and say you were right all along. But until that happens, there's no point in making your predictions. |
