| The problem is that many of the older lonely people don't have a PC so cant have Cyber Friendships. I visit an 87 year old lady who lives in a pleasant old people's home in Chiswick and whilst she has people around her she is 'lonely' with her only relatives living in Scotland and Lincoln. I'm taking her out for afternoon tea at the Maids of Honour next week and she is so excited and its probably the high spot of her month. She wouldn't know how or what to do with a Cyber relationship, but those that do get comfort from on-line contact should not be castigated or ridiculed, but have our empathy and understanding, there but for the grace of God.....
