..DISASTER!!!! tragedy! I've bin sacked! Demoted from Head Chef to junior sous chef third class – on account of being temporarily distracted re-reading Wodehouse/Psmith avec Malbec – and ever-so-slightly overdoing last night's guinea fowl! But thanks all for the excellent tips. I've heard whispers that yon brill will be wrapped in foil and roasted for about 35 mins – and that salt is involved. I think I also heard something about puy lentils but can't confirm that! Better news is we're signed up for Dry January - and I've been promised my cooking job back in the New Year... hey ho the holly! |
