Many years ago we had two outdoor cats that became indoor cats when we moved to a mansion flat. They were very happy after the move and adjusted really well. One of them had never been that keen on going out and the other no longer had to fight all comers and became much more affectionate with us as a consequence. We now have two indoor cats and the advice from our vet was that you should have one more litter tray than you have cats, so we have three, and it works pretty well!
