Well there is clearly a sub-text but I suspect Adam has too much integrity to be used as the tool of a developer in a dirty tricks campaign. You are probably right that it is coverage of the Chiswick Roundabout Tower which is the issue. There is a much stronger case that the reporting here was slanted than in the coverage of Empire House. You have highlighted that the 'poor door' issue is more complex than is often presented. That said, I don't blame ChiswickW4.com for taking an angle on a story that is likely to increase its readership and we should count our blessings that we have a media that isn't afraid to annoy developers.

I don't think there is any way that there would be agreement given for residents groups to participate in pre-application discussions. The whole point is to streamline the process and it would have worked just fine in the case of Empire House if it hadn't been for those pesky residents groups.
