| ...and how many times are there actually 4 people in the car? The average car occupancy in London is just 1.3 people per car. The next time you walk down Chiswick High Rd and there is nose to tail traffic, try counting the number of cars with just one person in them. It is a huge amount of space taken up by a tiny number of people. Not to mention that >95% of the car's fuel is being spent just moving the car... |
