Why can't political parties have the discipline that any decent company in the commercial sector would have?  I work, as people from many disciplines do, to determine what a company stands for, what its product/service is, how it diffentiates itself from the competition, all the latter both  now and ito the future, what its strengths and weaknesses are, how they are going to communicate what those strengths are and how they will address key weaknesses, how they are going to measure response and adapt accordingly, all within a budget.  If businesses across our country are doing this every day, why can't a party that seeks to govern them at least do the baby steps?  The Labour party is just trying to select a leader that they hope will have tied up all the above.  They won't.  The Labour party needs to decide the above first and then elect a leader,
