Make sure you get a definite recommendation - there is someone in Chiswick who has been keeping dogs muzzled and in cages in the back of a car while pretending to provide care for dogs - the owners have been horrified when someone tracked a couple of down and showed them the photos of their dogs trussed up, including overnight in extreme temperatures with no water, presumably so they were less inclined to pee in the car.   I think this person is not allowed dogs in the house so while the owners think their pooches are being cared for they are having the most horrendous time.
