Dan The sheer number of permits being issued had no relation to the number of 'essential users'. Around Ealing it was easy to see the permits 'congregating' (no pun intended) around 'places of worship' often poorly parked. Sorry, but I maintain the single transferable permit is all that is required. Without permits then you have to 'take your chance' along with other motorists. Disabled worshippers will, if they drive or are being driven, of course have the opportunity to use (or apply for) a Blue Badge which removes the need for any form of council permit. |
