Don't continue to try to bully me, Victoria, it won't work. Neither am I in the mood for you criticising two wonderful and hard working charities that I am involved with from a position of ignorance about how they work and their activities. The Mayhew probablydoes have more resources than ADM although I haven't seen your accounts but they are still a small charity and due to the depth and breadth and quality of their work are just as stretched if not more so than ADM - given the huge international reach and the many, many more activities they are involved in than ADM which simply has a focus on rehoming dogs you are not comparing like with like. Your criticism of Heathlands is just as inappropriate and completely unnecessary, made as they are from a clearly complete misunderstanding or ignorance of how these two wonderful charities operate. I have a deep respect and admiration for both, and while you may stretch yourself over many charities, these two are amongst the most committed and efficient I have known. I am afraid being involved with many charities doesn’t mean some of them including the ones you work with can’t operate better. You seem to think it is all about competition, it is not, both the charities I am involved with work with many others to get the best results for the animals. Glad it has been resolved with the Westie, and I have too many other things to do including looking after animals to keep this silly ding-dong going. As I said before, I think you do good work but your competitive attitude and denigration of other charities does not help the cause. |
