Word of warning. We just used a local - central Chiswick - cab company to take us to and from Gatwick. After years of using the same company I was getting a bit fed up with surly drivers, so tried a new company......big mistake. We requested a large vehicle to accomodate 4 cases and 2 booster seats for the kids. We had great driver on way to Gatwick. But....... Arrived back yesterday morning after an overnight flight - still having the 2 kids and 4 cases (!) to find that the company had sent a Prius with no booster seats...... So, if like us you like to bring your children and luggage back from your holiday, you might want to check that the cab company are aware of this.....!! Was an annoying end to the holiday. They offered to send another cab which would take an hour to get to us.......no apology or sorry. We told them to get lost and had an uber taxi to us within 5 minutes. Will go back to my usual cab firm or use uber who I have to say I was massively impressed with. Rant over!!!!!! |
