| This whole development 'thing' isn't about bringing in people or creating much needed homes it's about profit, pure and simple. And remember when all the so-called developers have gone we will be left with the increased density of people, traffic (people in flats do own cars otherwise why has the new BT Exchange building have a car park?), rubbish and the need for services (Ealing hospital is such a fantastic service! and we can all get a GP appointment anytime we need one!) So, yes it is way overdeveloped. Next, there will be plans to build on Turnham Green and while we are at it look at all the wasted space in Gunnersbury Park just crying out for super delux 10 bedroom houses for bankers and high rise penthouse flats. Remember, once it has gone - it's gone........ |
