This could be the problem that some have had with the switch from Yahoo due to constant hacking issues which i was one of thousands to be effected. Its a mixture of problems from Apple updates for some to SMTP issues.

Go to- settings- mail,contacts,calender

Select BTinternet and tap on imap account ****@btinternet

Go down to outgoing incoming mail and select your password. Remove and type it again,do not copy and paste.

Also just check host name is mail.ntinernet.com and user name is your email and correct.

It should then verify your password and all should be ok.
