| Had one last night at boys' bathtime. Indian chap called to tell me that my computer was running slow and had I noticed this? I said yes I had and that it was about a day slow because things I wrote today didn't appear until yesterday. He pressed on regardless so I introduced a third party to the conversation pretending we had a crossed line. I called this third party Mrs Doughnut and used my best Monty Python old lady voice. The Indian caller tried to involve Mrs Doughnut in the conversation with me as well but it all got a bit complicated so in the end I hung up. He called straight back but I let him go to answerphone. He then called back twice more before giving up. I can only assume he liked Mrs Doughnut although I am not sure she felt the same, being married and all. |
