I have to pill one of mine twice a day and the secret with her is to get the scruff of the neck and tip the head right back so the mouth opens and then pop the pill right at the back of the tongue then gently hold the mouth shut and stroke the throat so she swallows. I dunk the pill first in some nice-tasting food (tuna or the gravy in the cat food she likes)so it doesn't taste too horrible and she has a lot of her favourite treats right away afterwards. |
