"Wouldn't it be nice to be living in the Borough of Brentford and Chiswick in the County of Middlesex.."

Then the council could ensure that the likes of Macdonalds and Poundland were only allowed in the Brentford part of the borough, keeping Chiswick's streets pristine and upmarket, as well as clean.

Perhaps then they could also reinstate the London United Tramways link between Chiswick and Brentford - the local equivalent of Crossrail and HS2 ?
