Cholesterol on it's own is not necessarily bad, but problems occur when other factors are taken into consideration.Smoking, high blood pressure and diabetes all make the risk of coronary problems higher.I have hyperlipidaemia and my low density cholesterol level is usually between 7-9 mmo/L but I had a full cardiac investigation over a 24 hour period last year and my heart is fine. |
