The daughter of a friend has just failed Maths GCSE for the third time, although she did well in her other subjects, including an A in English. So far, she has scored an E first time, then 2 Ds If it were any other subject, she would move on, but this seems to bar her from most further education, so must be beaten. Does anyone have experience of solving a problem like this? I'm wondering if there are specialist courses out there as she can't be the only one to have this problem. Her school isn't offering much help.
