"Surprised not to have seen more complaints." Don't be surprised! Its the way Thames operate. When they have a problem they have no idea how to rectify, their first thought is PR. (I have seen their Operating Manuals) Hence they try to curb public outrage and complaints. It lends a certain comfort to would-be complainants who genuinely believe the problem is being dealt with when in fact the managers are still trying to figure out what the problem is and who to blame. It happens time and time again with Thames Water. Suggest to go to the meeting and confront them, ask for a full explanation of what the problem is and for a timeline to abate the nuisance. Its easy enough to look a person in the face to see if they are lying or have a clue. Thats why I was interested to know who will be representing Thames Water. Site management or PR people? |
