| The new box junctions have clearly not been thought through. The right turn from Barrowgate (west limb) onto the southbound SCR is part of the main and signposted route from the eastbound A4 to Grove Park. The new box junctions make that route unfeasible in busy times, it will be incredibly slow to turn right. The net result will be in busy periods, a Friday afternoon during school time, when SCR normally backs up towards the Town Hall will result in almost total grid lock. West end limb of Barrowgate will back up almost to the garage and east limb will be backed up far beyond Garth Road |
