| The obvious way to guarantee avoiding a fine if you've started coming out from Barrogate Road and intend turning right towards the A4 is to turn hard right if you suddenly think you will get stuck in the second box, into the path of the oncoming bus ( assuming it isn't any closer than it is as shown in the photo), and then manoeuvre to the left, keeping an eye for any traffic behind you. You might get tooted, or block the northbound lane, but for many that would be better than getting a fine. Still can't help agreeing with those who are saying this is likely to make the junction more dangerous. Not when there is light traffic of course, but when it's busy and there is a lot of traffic going both south and north along SCR. |
