| I never said the system was dysfunctional, Jeremy. I merely said, based on evidence which eludes you, the system is not standard. You took an unnecessary pot shot at this venue. You kind of took one at me. Not that I care. But I do care when people jump to conclusions and get on their high horse pretending to know what's what. I'm particularly amused in this instance, because you were absolutely bang on with regard to your thread on LTNs and speeding having a negative impact on deliveries. Another example of lunacy...we once had an inspection asking for our door closer maintenance log (is if anyone would know there should be such a thing) and we once had to challenge the opinion an entire staircase in an old building had to be replaced because of a chip on one nosing of one tread. That is the reality for all businesses. Now look at that through the lens of any SME that doesn't have corporate resources to address these things assuming, even, that they are urgent and need to be addressed. |
