My recollection is that vans weren't allowed into Stirling Road and that business use was never a particular problem with business use as a result.

There is often a blurred line between business and personal use - for instance if I WFH and bring work correspondence with me and then recycle with household waste, am I fly tipping?

The problem that is emerging here is a mixed message from the authorities. We have been told for decades that recycling is good and most have tried to maximise what they do. However, now that many councils have started burning household waste to create what is laughably called green energy, they have lost the incentive that massive land fill costs provided to encourage recycling. People assume they are being good citizens by putting cardboard in appropriate containers but the council has moved on from that approach.
