| True, Janice, but they usually also have urinals. I understand that women like to feel that the ladies loo is a safe place where they can partially disrobe without the fear of some drunken male peering over the top of the cubicle or worse. Whether public unisex loos can be designed that would make women feel safe I Know not. I recall that there was a running joke in the TV series Ally McBeal about the unisex loos at their law firm and while they made them funny in the programme's context, some of the situations depicted could have been quite alarming for a shy woman. |
