| We had virtual permits where we lived before and this is exactly what was supposed to happen, though it is unlikely that the CEO's would remember effectively partly because people park in different streets in Chiswick and partly because of the sheer volume of residents' vehicles. Our street patrols took much longer with the new scheme so less streets were properly patrolled. One problem that arose was that residents who had previously had a dated permit on the windscreen did not remember when their permits were expiring. Our old LA said they had emailed residents to let them know but this was not the case for many of us. |
