It seems there is a lot of confusion about this. I have applied for two temporary permits for my decorator recently. In June a paper permit arrived promptly. When I applied in early July I received an email, as before, confirming a permit would be posted to me. Nothing arrived. On questioning this I was then told that permits are now virtual and nothing would be posted. We have put a copy of the relevant email on the dashboard and are keeping our fingers crossed! All very stressful. I saw nothing about the change anywhere on the LBH website, the emails I received in connection with it were inconsistent, and it seems the councillors are also unaware and are still being given contradictory information. The usual shambles at LBH. Its the same with the "consultation" on changes to the borough's parking "strategy". The article on ChiswickW4 says they were "disappointed" to receive less than 300 responses. Unsurprising to me as I'm sure, like me, many people knew nothing about the consultation. I spoke to my local councillor about this. Apparently there was something about it on the LBH website...are we now all supposed to read this on a regular basis? |
