| Amazing responses, mostly helpful but some remarkably judgemental. Not mentioning any neames but to suggest that we are making bad life choices by ordering burgers is quite frankly ridiculous. My wife is an extremely fit ex-dancer and both of our sons are rowers at National level, one is now a professional musician. "No stranger to the sweet trolley" would certainly not be the first thing to spring to mind when describing a Blackwell! Yes we could have cooked at home but I couldn't be arsed and frankly just wanted food, now! The take away is very much embedded in our culture and to expect a reasonable service is certainly not a First World problem! But anyway, to those who replied with helpful suggestions I thank you! All sorted now, we visited the restaurant and the manager was very apologetic and the refund has been issued. Incidentally we have found the best food for delivery is either PHO or ANNAPURNA ... yum! |
